That's us in Genting, We practically sticked together everywhere (:So after the 1st of January, After six months and a few days, i decided to sit myself down and blog today. And hopefully, for as long as i can and as often as possible.
It’s Aaron’s and Elgin’s birthday today anyway. Aaron owes me my snw tee, and there’s still an outing due with Elgin and group.
Year 1 ended on a good note, with good results. And for the major stuffs:
I went on a trip to Sabah with Daddy and Sis after the attachments. The place was simply like Singapore in the 60's. I liked the peaceful life and fresh seafood though (Y)
Then there was the FOC, or rather, Bonding Camp, the school calls it. That was fun, and also getting to know more of the Year 2 dgates (:
Went for the Genting Trip organized by Ms Suhannah too. That was definitely hell lots of fun with the awesome dgates people! :D And, kind of making new friends too (:
Some of my p08 project group
Year 2 was a major change. New classmates again, but this time, i wasn't alone. New modules. Everybody had them. Like a 360 degree change, they were all tougher than year 1's. Passing class tests were like wonders you could do, cause that's how tough school was getting. And, to add on with the pressure were the projects that piled.
Oh well, common test was over a week ago and now we're all just waiting for the results.
On a side note, my classmates of year 2 are actually nice people too. Nothing beats P01, but still, i'm thankful for the new friends (: Jay Jay and I got to know each other through YEP, and we ended up in the same class. Yen Teng and Marcus were from my previous tutorial group, Hui Ling was from TCP, Kuldip and Kok wei were from attachment, Eliz from p30, and Got to know Haiqal from FOC only after I heard that he’s in the same class for year 2. So practically, I knew half the class even before day 1!
Marking the end of common test with the girlies <3The first week of holiday has been pretty good. In summary,
Thursday- Watched X-men with Hui Chin, Jaq, Yu Ying and Eugene. X-men's not really my type of movie, but it was pretty good, i must say. Then Starbucks and gossips with the girls at Central. Every moment we were together felt so good J
Friday- We had our very first Exco meeting for HS Society, not bad for a start.
Saturday- WSS on Saturday was not a good start for the holiday. And it was a training, like officially started 'training'. I'll just do my best and see how far i go. Oh, partnering with Eugene was pretty good too, thankfully we're both not quite scared of needles (;
Sunday- Train-ed to JB with mom, aunt and SK. Pretty much crowded Sunday as there was a temple event going on. But well, we went there to watch movie, actually. So we watched 2 movies one after the other, for what was really worth the money. Both movies had good story lines, and were good.
Monday- Met up with the exco girls, not on attachment, to do the gifts for the year 3s. My whole day was gone like that, but we did have fun and laughter along the way. and girls talks too.
Tuesday- Went to the Zoo with mummy, sk and Rekha akka. Yeah, to the zoo after a super long time! Had a great time there.
Wednesday- We were supposed to meet Ms Jo, but apparently she informed us the wrong day. So it was kind of like a wasted trip. The four of us had breakfast/brunch and then headed to Marina Square. I think my body was just too tired, so i headed home first. Came home with a fever of 38.2 yet, i couldn't sleep for a nap. Grey's Anatomy does wonders? Apparently, i watched a few episodes and got better after that.
And then for a super last minute plan, headed out with Yoga to JP for a movie. A free one for me, actually. We watched 'Something borrowed'. Nice movie, with awkward moments that kinda brings back some memories of awkward moments.
Thursday and Friday were just stay home days. All i did was to eat, and tidy my table, use my laptop and eat eat eat. I've got library books to return, which i'm too lazy to do so, shall keep it for Sat. Been trying to download grey's anatomy but doesn't seem to be going well. And now, thanks to a web Tina gave, i'm able to watch GA online till i get the DVDs from school ~
Tomorrow, Saturday, would be our first Dgates meeting with all the Dgates. Shall see how it goes :)
For the reason that i gave you my word,
that's why i'm holding on;
